ParQ & municipality of Nissewaard: smart garage subscription
NieuwsIn the municipality of Nissewaard, residents and private individuals can purchase a garage subscription. Multiple license plates can be registered that can use this. However, only one license plate may be registered at a time.
Due to the current API connection between SKIDATA and ParQ, it is now possible to check directly in ParQ which parking right applies to the relevant license plate upon entering the parking garage. If one of the other license plates then reports to the parking garage, Skidata receives the same subscription back from ParQ and it will be determined that it is already in use.
Through the implementation of the API connection between Skidata and ParQ, the following improvements have been made to the process:
- The subscription is requested directly in the PVS via ParQ's customer portal and is issued immediately (no employee intervention required anymore)
- License plate changes can be made by the subscription holder themselves in the customer portal and are immediately active (no employee intervention required anymore)
- Registration of the license plates in the Skidata system no longer takes place
